about

JOIN THE UNDERWORLD composed in 2002 and the song took part in an unreleased Athos 2002 Demo entitled ''DARK POEM'' (Only 3 people might have this self release). The song never published and that demo too because the result was not good as i had no experience in creating music that time and my guitar playing was not the apropiate one. So the time came this song to come alive after so many years and be published in Athos 2019 new album ''WITH DARKEST HAILS'' released under the mark of LOWER SILESIAN STRONGHOLD.

lyrics

Wounded in the battlefield
I fall glorious, with pride I fought

My blood feeds the thirsty grounds
Stronghold my shield, leaving my last breath
As the world fades out

The river is calm as the boater silently slashes though
I wonder am I cursed or honored?
The end is close I hear songs I hear the heroes hails
I am in the Elysian Fields where battle songs
And old wine never ends!

We salute from thee
Hail
Hail
Hail to the glorious battles
Hail to the fallen ones
Hail from thee

Suddenly the songs stopped
And sad faces appeared
One by one whispered
In my ear

The truth that I had to hear
The truth I never knew
The truth I couldn’t see
The truth of all

The world is changing
And we are fading through the years
The enemy has won without spears
The world is changing
And we are sinking in its tears
The enemy has turned the dreams in fears

Hercules told me that Hydra is still alive
Leonidas told me that the enemy is inside
Achileus told me that Troy never fall
And that the battle of the marathon was never won

The songs started again
The great hall flooded in bright
And the gates are locked
No one will ever come again
